Offer invoice payment to businesses

Invoice for companies

In addition to accepting payments with Vipps and payment cards on your online store, you can also let business customers pay by invoice. Many businesses rely on being able to pay by invoice, and this is a good opportunity to attract new business customers and create additional sales with existing customers. A bakery increased online sales by 38% after they activated invoice ordering on their online store.

You can choose between handling invoices yourself, or you can let Cake it easy do it automatically for you.

If you want to do it yourself, it works like this:

How it works for the customer

  1. The customer enters their mobile number and receives a code via SMS.

    1. All invoice customers must verify their mobile number. This is to ensure the identity of the orderer and to make it super easy for the customer to order next time - then they only need to enter their mobile number and the invoice information will be filled in automatically.

  2. The customer enters the company's organization number and it is checked against the Brønnøysund Registers.

  3. The customer chooses whether the invoice should be sent in EHF or PDF and enters an order reference.

How it works for the bakery

1. When the invoice order arrives at the bakery, it appears on the Not invoiced page, under Orders in Admin. The number of uninvoiced orders is clearly displayed in the top menu so it is easy to keep track.

2. You extract the order information and create an invoice via your own invoicing system.

3. Once the invoice has been sent, you can click “Mark as invoiced” so that you have an overview of which orders have been invoiced.
