To use the solution in-store, an Android tablet must be set up so that store staff are notified of new orders. The device should be a dedicated device that is only used to receive orders so that the app can be running at all times. We recommend the following products:
Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab A7
A reliable and powerful tablet at a reasonable price. Click here to see the product page at Power.
Stand: Satechi R1
A stand that makes it easy to handle the tablet and stands stably behind the counter. Click here to see the product page at Power.
Prepare products and stores
Each store may have a different assortment. It is important to link the right products to the store. You can either use products that are already in the bakery's online store, or you can create your own products for the store(s). NOTE! Only the bakery administrator can create new products.
Create products
From PC, go to admin.cakeiteasy.com .
Go to the product overview.
Create the products to be offered in the store(s), but do not activate them if they are only to be sold in stores.
Connect the products to the store(s)
Select Pickup Locations , select store, and select Products.
Press the Connect Products button.
There you can mark which products should be offered for takeaway in the store.
When you are finished selecting, you can tap Return to store assortment . There you can see the products that have been selected for the store.
Repeat this for each store. You can offer a different assortment per store if you wish.
Create a password for the store(s)
On the store settings, select Takeaway in store.
Create a password, and send the store code and password to the store.

Once all the steps above are complete, you are ready to launch!
Find a place for the tablet where it is easy to see orders coming in. Place the tablet on the stand and connect the power to the board. It is important that the tablet is always connected to power so that it does not run out of battery.
Turn up the volume to maximum by clicking the external buttons on the top of the tablet.
Open the Cake it easy app, click where it says “ Closed for orders” at the top of the page.
Set a deadline for ordering. We recommend starting with 30 minutes, and adjusting it later as needed.
